Route: Mawdsley Magic Minibus to Cat & Fiddle - Stakeside - fast descent to Errwood Hall - Climb on rd almost to Pym's Chair -  Re-descend to Errwood via different route - climb back to Cat  & Fiddle via rd and Derbyshire Bridge - descnt to Stanley Arms - Climb to Standing Stone - drop down the road to the Leathers Smithy.

•  A cracking first Thursday Night Ride of 2006 ....but numbingly cold as we unpacked the bikes at the Cat & Fiddle

• A bit slippy as we started towards Stakeside & the odd iced over boggy bit caught one or two out

• What an excellent turn-out ! Nice to see Gmac, Big Nick & Paul the D

• Coley & Mawds turned up in the pub

• The Leathers would not do any serving after hours ! ...but el Pud did the honours with his Xmas hip flask & some good old JD
