Muddy Macc Forest leads to a trip to The Bath(s)

Route : Barracks Lane - Buxton New Rd - Buxton Old Rd - Rear Entry to Teggs Nose - Langley Couloir descent & safer options - Leather Smithy - climb through forest -  Charity Lane & the Forest chapel extension - Standing Stone - Nessit right hand deviation - Rd to Langley then cross country (very muddy) over the Hollins to Macc Golf Club/Hollins Rd. - Snicket to Black Road -  Back streets route to The Baths House - Home.

Weather: Fine if a bit cloudy - Cracking Sunset  

Items of interest :

• Beautiful sunset and a fine turnout, with intricate mid-route rendezvous with Steve & Mawds in Langley , and then Eric at the back of the Forest
• A new pub (The Baths House), with excellent parking arrangements and excellent value nosh......and Speckled Hen !!!
• Almost three hours of varied riding on what felt like new route in familiar territory
