Mellor Madness & Boars Head Pilgrimage

Route : Barracks Lane - Middlewood Way Rendezvous - Bolly - Sugar Lane - Lyme Park West Gate to North Gate - Mellor Moor - The Romper - Middelwood Way - The Boar's Head - Middlewood Way - Home    

Weather: OK until exit from BH when it was p*ssing it down

Items of interest :

• Welcome return of Trevor "Get the Beers In" Jackson.... with lighter weight lighting technology
• Stevie F and Mawds put in an appearance (regular feature now) and form a forward party to secure "base camp" at the Boar's Head
• Kersh pays up for previous "b*gger off early without paying" incidents
• Good distance covered with lots of good off-road around Mellor  
• First time in the "lounge" at the Boar's Head but major disappointment in the lack of Dark or White
